On June 22nd, 2023, the European Commission published a report entitled Scaling up innovative technologies for climate neutrality,
where iCAREPLAST is one of 184 demonstration projects analysed for climate neutrality in energy-intensive industries. The report points to the need for
follow-up investments for these clean technologies to enter the market by 2030 and contribute significantly to the EU climate goals of 2050.
On Friday, the 17th of June, 2023, we received Diana Morat, the Minister of Science and
Innovation of the Government of Spain, at the @ITQ_UPVCSIC facilities. We are very pleased
to have had the opportunity to show her the work developed at @icareplast project.

It was a pleasure to welcome all the iCAREPLAST partners in Valencia for the final Plenary Meeting. Over the last 54 months, we worked together making a step forward in the energy-efficient recycling and development of plastic waste valorisation technologies.
Thank you so much for your attendance and your project commitment!
